Some Odd Girl ~ Musician Mermaid

Welcome back my friends...

I have been having a lot of fun designing for Some Odd Girl. Here I am using "Musician Mermaid" Digi Stamp in this project...

I decided that this Mae Mermaid almost looked like she was wearing a evening gown while she performs for her listeners. So I decided to color her as if she was at a formal event. I started by choosing a patterned paper from my stash and I colored Mae using my Copic markers to coordinate with the colors in my chosen paper.

All dies used here are Crafter's Companion. Added Gems are by Stampin' Up! Have any other questions about my project? Simply message me, and don't forget to add your email along the side bar so that you can get updates when new projects are added to my blog.

Thank you so much everyone....Happy crafting!!!

LDRS Creative ~ If Friends Were Flowers

Hello Friends,

I hope your week is going nicely! Today I want to share a clean and simple card showcasing the beautiful floral stamps in the "If Friends Were Flowers Stamp & Die bundle", by LDRS Creative.

LDRS Creative Product List:

Here is a second look at my card. I have attached multiple single stamps back behind the main flower image and then used foam squares to pop up the larger piece giving the card a lot of added dimension. I was going to add a sentiment from this amazing stamp and die set, but I thought the card was quite striking without it. This way it can be used for any occasion.

As always I aim to inspire that inner artist in all of you by sharing my projects with you. Make sure to check out my Facebook Group at your convenience for even more crafty ideas!

Crafter's Companion Stamp & Die Subscription Box

Hi Friends,

I had some fun playing the last couple of days and came up with this design focusing on the Crafter's Companion Subscription boxes which can be purchased on HSN.

I have chosen the Card Base, Light Purple Card, Printed Card, Stamp, and Die from the Subscription  Box itself. Then I have used numerous products from Crafter's Companion & Spectrum Noir.

Crafter's Companion Supply List:

Here is a close up of my coloring. This is the very first time I have ever used Spectrum Noir Alcohol Markers as I am usually a Copic girl but I have had this medium for a while and since I was focusing on all Crafter's Companion items I decided to go for it.

Spectrum Noir Alcohol Marker Colors Used:

PL1, PL2, PL3
LY1, LY2, LY3
True Black
and PL3 was also used on the rhinestones (see below)

Turn all your rhinestones into deluxe rhinestones by using any Alcohol Inks. Perfect for coordinating with your projects.

I hope I have encouraged you to create outside the box today. It was fun playing with all of the Cradfter's Companion products and I plan to continue because I really have enjoyed them.

Crafty Hugs, Melanie
