Stampin' UP! Thoughtful Branches Part 3

Hi There,

I hope you have enjoyed me focusing on one Stampin' UP! bundle this week. Our Thoughtful Branches bundle has suppose to only be available in the month of August but are still so many possibilities that it is truly is a joy to design with. it has been really fun creating these for all of you, and I for one, love to see many examples of a product before I consider purchasing it. As a friend of mine says "It is good to have options". Don't forget when purchasing a stamp/die bundle from Stampin' UP! you receive 10% off. See all the bundles that we carry by clocking HERE.

One of my favorite types of cards to create are ones that show a scene. During our card class with this card the ladies had so much putting the different die cut leaves in different locations. I love it when they create "outside the box"

I hope you all have a wonderful weekend. Check back next week for a NEW 3 part series focusing on another wonderful bundle by Stampin' UP!

SU! Thoughtful Branches Part 2

Hello Lovely Friends,

Today I have my second installment using the Sheltering Tree stamp set by Stamping' UP! This set is so versatile and you do truly get your moneys worth considering the stamp set has 23 stamps!!!

Using the Petal Burst Textured Embossing Folder I embossed the background piece of Whisper White Cardstock. I love the texture it gives to the card. Using Stampin' Dimensionals I popped up the oval focal. The Layering Oval Framelit Set. To create the scene I used Water Color Paper with an Aqua Painter and Stampin' UP! Ink Pads to create the background water color effect. Then using the baby wipe technique we used ink refills and baby wipes as our stamp pad to achieve the multi colored leaves.

Make sure to check back with me on Friday to see the last installment of my Thoughtful Branches Week.

Stampin' UP! Thoughtful Branches Week ~ While Supplies Last

Hello Stampers,

This week I am going to share with you 3 different projects using the Stampin' UP! bundle called "Thoughtful Branches". This bundle was suppose to be available only during the month of August, but guess what?.... We still have sets available, so if you missed out on that promotion there is still time to grab it.

This set is AMAZING... There are so many possibilities that I actually had a class designed around it last month. I really hope they will consider keeping it around for us... This 23 piece stamp set has beautiful sentiments and the coordinate dies are so detailed.. If you struggle with intricate dies make sure to add the Big Shot Precision Base Plate to your order. It makes cutting these detailed dies out super easy. You just replace your bottom clear cutting plate with this plate. Click HERE to order.

Now for the first card in this series. I have used a background stamp called "Water Color Wash" to add a little interest to the card base. Then using the  "Brick Wall Impressions 6X6 embossing folder which I cut from Crumb Cake Stampin' UP! cardstock. After embossing it I rubbed Stampin' UP's Whisper White craft ink pad over it and it gave this amazing life like brick look. The flower die itself can be used as either a floral like I have used it here, or it can also be leaves on a tree. If you already have the Sheltering Tree stamp set, these work quite well together.

For the flowers I did stamp the top piece before die cutting it out with the coordinating dies. I also cut out a darker color to sit behind and used Stampin' Dimensionals to add depth and dimension. Don't forget that the Stamp & Die bundle is 10% off when purchasing them as a bundle. If you have any questions about today's card feel free to message. If you are inspired by my work I would love it if you would consider following me or requesting by Newsletter.

Have a crafty day!

Stampin' UP! Paper Pumpkin Play

Hi Friends,

I just added a new class to my calendar in August and I just wanted to share with you all the projects I personally created using an older Paper Pumpkin Kit along with a little extra coordinating card stock and a few bits of ribbon, doilies, and stamps.

For those of you who are not familiar with Stampin' UP!'s monthly Paper Pumpkin Subscription Club. Now is the time to give it a try. For new subscribers you can get buy one month get one month free. Each month after signing up you will receive a sweet little surprise kit. All wrapped up like a surprise gift! Inside you will find EVERYTHING you need to create your projects. You receive an exclusive stamp set, each month along with ink, papers, embellishments, and even adhesive. This is perfect for the beginner but it is also a lot of fun as a veteran as I will show you below with today's projects.

The kit I opened to play with was a kit that made cards, fancy envelopes which concealed a little gift card pocket, as well as some small gift card envelopes. Here is a photo of the kit as it was intended to be created....

For my local customers we got together and each of us worked at our own pace on which ever Paper Pumpkin kit we wanted to. The class is just a fun crafty night and is free for those who subscribe. For those who have no yet decided to subscribe or just wish to come by to craft with us, I have kit materials for you to play with as well....just bring $10 to cover materials along with your basic crafty supplies (Scissors, trimmer, and of course adhesives.)

I like to get super crafty with my kits so below shows my "Alternative" projects using the same kit. I have just added some coordinating card stocks and a few small embellishments.

I will be donating some of these to my
Handmade Cards For Cancer Program.
