We are so EXCITED to celebrate this special day with you all, that we have decided to offer a 31% DISCOUNT on all Halloween and Fall products in store (*excluding bundles, using code Wicked31, valid until October 31st, MIDNIGHT EST).

And because there is no party without PRIZES....Who would like to win surprise grab bag of LDRS Creative products worth at least $30? We will draw 3 winners throughout the day (Oct. 31st, EST) on our Facebook group, so make sure to join it HERE.

For my personal project I have created this simple star burst card technique with the Polkadoodles Wicked Halloween paper pack. I have also colored up Winnie Broomstick to show off in front of the Sunburst of Halloween fun!

here is a simple step by step photo tutorial to help you create your own starburst card.

Step 1: Simply cut 2x6" strips om your favorite Halloween papers.

Step 2: Using your trimmer line up the 2" strips on the diagonal. You will just be using one set of these halves. Might as well make 2 cards while your creating.

Step 3: All of your papers should look like this.
You will just be using one set of these halves. Might as well make 2 cards while your creating.

Step 4: Begin in the center and glue the pieces leaving about a 1/8" gap in between. You can also glue them butted up together if you would like. Just depends on the look you are going after.

Step 5: Continue gluing, alternating the patterns.

Step 6: on the last two pieces I turned them upside down to help cover the entire card base.

Step 7: Lastly flip the card over and trim along the card base edges.

Winnie Broomstick is colored with Alcohol markers and is fussy cut and popped up on the card front.

Here is one last look at a few of the products I have used in this design.

Make sure to hop around, leave a comment at each stop, and answer the mysterious questions (haha!) on the first stop.

Here's the list and keep hoping:

And remember to use that discount code before it turns into a pumpkin at MIDNIGHT! ;-)
Thank you for stopping by and Happy Hopping! Melanie

LDRS Creative Arctic Snowfall Collection

Hi Friends,
Welcome Back! Today I have a fun new project I have created using the Arctic Snow Fall Release available at LDRS Creative.

When designing this card I decided to create a scene. I love the Arctic Snow 6x6 Paper Pad and when I saw the snowflake sky I just had to create around it. I wanted a shaped card so I chose the Woodland Foliage Frames set of dies. Using one of the oval dies from the set I cut the sky and snow for the background. I then colored the beautiful Tree Line Stamp and then die cut it using the coordinating Tree Line Die to create the background skyline. The hills in front of the trees was cut using the Holly Border which is half price in the store right now!!!

I used lots of foam tape to pop up the tree line along with the fox. This ADORABLE fox is from the Arctic Snowfall stamp set. I added a double layer of foam tape behind his feet and tail so he would lay nicely over the background. The sentiment is also from the Arctic Snowfall stamp set.

I hope you have enjoyed today's project. If you have any questions or would like to follow my work you can use  "Follow By Email" or "Contact Me" widgets along the left tool bar of my blog.

Tinsley by LDRS Creative ~ 1 Easy Designers Tip

Hi Friends,
I would love to share a fun project I created using the fairy stamp named "Tinsley"By LDRS Creative

This beautiful stamp is shown on the website as a holiday fairy (see below). But I decided to grab some stunning paper that we sell and have a little fun with Ms. Tinsley!!

Who says she has to be a holiday fairy??? I first decided to coordinate my project all to match the Sincerely Yours 6x6" paper pad. It came out quite striking! The sentiment came from our New Beginnings Stamp Set.

As I was using the Woodland Foliage Frames die set I  die cut my stamped image with the larger of the two oval dies which did not give me a frame to add behind it

Designers TIP: Simply trace your die around the outside of the die using a ball point pen. Then simply fussy cut it out. Quick and easy tip that really allows you even more versatility when using your favorite dies.

After using foam tape to pop up the oval layers I then cut two of the foliage branches from the same dies set and glued a nice grouping flowers around one side to finish assembly. Lastly I added glitter glue to the fairy wings. Here is a last look of my creation.

My goal today was to inspire your creative side. I hope I have accomplished that. LIKE MY WORK? leave your EMAIL along the side bar to get notified each time I post a new project. Thanks so much for stopping by today! Happy crafting!
