For my personal project I have created this simple star burst card technique with the Polkadoodles Wicked Halloween paper pack. I have also colored up Winnie Broomstick to show off in front of the Sunburst of Halloween fun!
here is a simple step by step photo tutorial to help you create your own starburst card.
Step 1: Simply cut 2x6" strips om your favorite Halloween papers.
Step 1: Simply cut 2x6" strips om your favorite Halloween papers.
Step 2: Using your trimmer line up the 2" strips on the diagonal. You will just be using one set of these halves. Might as well make 2 cards while your creating.
Step 3: All of your papers should look like this.
You will just be using one set of these halves. Might as well make 2 cards while your creating.
Step 4: Begin in the center and glue the pieces leaving about a 1/8" gap in between. You can also glue them butted up together if you would like. Just depends on the look you are going after.
Step 6: on the last two pieces I turned them upside down to help cover the entire card base.
Step 7: Lastly flip the card over and trim along the card base edges.
Winnie Broomstick is colored with Alcohol markers and is fussy cut and popped up on the card front.
Here is one last look at a few of the products I have used in this design.
Make sure to hop around, leave a comment at each stop, and answer the mysterious questions (haha!) on the first stop.
Here's the list and keep hoping:
And remember to use that discount code before it turns into a pumpkin at MIDNIGHT! ;-)
