Heartfelt Creations ~ BRAND NEW DIES!!!!!!!!

Hi Friends,

Can you hear my excitement? Yes Heartfelt Creations is launching a second release of beautiful slimline dies and boy are these fun to work with.  They go right along with the ones released back on Black Friday 2022 and will round lut your collection nicely. Here is a look at one of my favorites!!!

Directions:

Cut a piece of white cardstock to 7 1/2” x 9 1/4” and score in half at 3 3/4” to form a top fold slim line card base. Using the largest die from the HCD3-7447 Slim Elegant Rectangle Die set cut through both layers making sure that the die falls over the top of the folded edges to prevent from cutting the fold line. This will create the shaped card base. Next using the same die cut 2x, cut once from white cardstock and once from sheet 9B from the HCDP1-2147 Garden Lily Paper Collection. Glue the white layer to the card front. Using the HCDA1-449 Stack & Store Daubers ink the edges of the pink piece (you will do this to the second pink piece in the project as well) with Magenta Hue archival ink before glueing it to the card front. Now with the second largest die from the Slim Elegant Rectangle Die Set cut a piece from sheet 4B and from Luxe Silver Cardstock. Layer and adhere these offsetting them so that the silver peeks out behind the floral paper, glue to the card base. Using sheets 6B, 9B, and 4A from the paper pad along with Luxe Silver Cardstock cut the multi layers from the smaller layering dies in the die set, as shown. Before gluing each set together, stamp the sentiment from the HCPC-3846 Thank You Sentiments Cling Stamp Set in Magenta Hue. Create the three layers and attach them with 3D foam dots in between to add dimension.

Using the HCPC-3948 Sweet Magnolia Cling Stamp Set stamp the small magnolia stamp 2x and the medium magnolia  1x onto Deluxe Flower Shaping Paper with Magenta Hue Archival Ink. Next stamp the HCPC-3835 Leafy Accents Cling Stamp Set 1x in Olive Archival Ink. Cut out using the coordinating die sets. Color the centers of the flowers with Vivid Chartreuse Ink and the edges of the flower petals with Magenta Hue. Color the leaves with Leaf Green and Olive Archival Inks. Now shape all the flowers and leaves with the coordinating 3D Shaping Mold. Then using the Deluxe Flower Shaping Tool Set add some texture. Poke a hole in the center of each flower with a golf tool and add HCS1-458-2 Bright Pearl Stamens - Medium making sure to secure them with hot glue. Lastly add Dries clear glue to the petals with a hydra sponge and generously add Rajni Chawla’s Crystal Clear Glitter.

Stamp the smallest dragonfly from the HCPC-3983 Decorative Dragonflies Cling Stamp Set with Watering Can Archival Ink and color with detailed brushes using Magenta Hue, Sunflower, and Leaf Green Archival Inks. Cut out with the coordinating dies then glitter with Crystal Ultra Transparent Glitter.

To assemble, layer a small bunch of leaves in the bottom left hand corner of the card. Then arrange the 3 blooms atop securing them with a glue gun. Add the dragonfly as a finishing touch. Complete the inside as desired.

I hope you enjoyed that as much as I enjoyed creating it for each of you! Check out my personal project in the Heartfelt Creations Gallery to find out what products I used for this project.

Heartfelt Creations ~ In Sympathy Lilies

Hello Friends,

Welcome back to more weekly inspiration featuring the Garden Lily Collection from Heartfelt Creations. Today I have a lovely slim line card to share with all of you. It features the beautiful papers along with flowers and foliage from the newest collection.

Directions:

Cut a piece of white cardstock to 7 1/4” x 9 1/8” and score in half at 3 5/8” to form a left fold slim line card base. Using the HCD3-7432 Slim Basic Rectangle Die use the largest die to cut a piece from Sheet 4B from the HCDP1-2147 Garden Lily Paper Collection. Using the
HCDA1-449 Stack & Store Daubers ink the edges with Olive Archival Ink. Using the second largest die from the Slim Basic Rectangle Dies cut a piece from sheet 4A and do the same inking with the edges. Attach both of these layers to the front of the card base using Dries Clear Adhesive. Next using the HCD3-7435 Curvy Accent Border Die set create a double layer accent border as shown using both Luxe Gold and White Cardstock. Glue this beautiful edge to the left hand side. Next take the HCD2-7371 Letters and Numbers Die Set to create the sentiment by cutting the smaller letters in both gold and white. Layer them by slightly offsetting them to coordinate with the border. This is a wonderful way to customize a sentiment perfectly for the occasion.

Using the  HCPC-31011 Garden Lily Cling Stamp Set stamp the small lily 1x and the medium/large lily 2x onto Deluxe Flower Shaping Paper with Peony Pink Archival Ink. Next stamp the Leaf Stamp 3x in Olive Archival Ink. Cut out using the coordinating die sets. Color the centers lightly with Rose Madder Ink and with the triangle tip of the dauber color the detail line on the flowers by pulling the color towards the tip. Lightly edge the flower petal as well. Color the leaves with Leaf Green and Olive Archival Inks. Now shape all the flowers and leaves with the coordinating 3D Shaping Mold. Then using both the Deluxe Flower Shaping Tool Set and Golf Tools shape your flower after spritzing them from the back with water and finish hand shaping. Poke a hole with a golf tool and add in 4-5, HCS1-499 Petite Pollen Stamens - Medium making sure to secure them with hot glue. Lastly add Dries clear glue to the petals and generously add Rajni Chawla’s Crystal Clear Glitter. For the Filler Flowers the HCPC-3906 Small Wild Rose Cling Stamp Set was used. It was stamped and lightly colored in Goldenrod Archival Ink and the centers were colored in Bright Tangelo. They were die cut with the coordinating dies and shaped in the coordinating 3D Shaping Mold. Go Mango Prills were added to the centers to finish them off.

Using both of the HCPC-31012 Garden Lily Spray & Fillers Cling Stamp Set and the
HCPC-31013 Garden Lily Bouquet & Buds Cling Stamp Set stamp numerous foliage pieces in Leaf Green Archival Ink and color using a mixture of Sunflower, Vivid Chartreuse, and Leaf Green. Using a Hydra Sponge Coat with a layer of Dries Clear Glue and cover with Crystal Clear Glitter and allow to dry.

To assemble, layer the glittered Garden Lily Sprays and Fillers down first toward the bottom left corner of the card, followed by the shaped leaves leaving a couple out to add in after the flowers are glued down. Arrange the flowers and glue down using a glue gun with hot glue. Add in extra leaves or foliage as desired until the final desired look is achieved. Complete the inside as desired.

I hope you enjoyed that as much as I enjoyed creating it for each of you! Check out my personal project in the Heartfelt Creations Gallery to find out what products I used for this project.

Heartfelt Creations ~ Garden Lily Gate

 Oh Friends!!!!!

I am so excited to come to you today. I have not been this excited in quite some time but when I began playing with this months release I just fell completely IN LOVE with these new lily flowers. Take a look at the Brand New Garden Lily Collection by Heartfelt Creations. These flowers are quite easy to make as I will show you and are breathtaking to design with. Now lets have some fun making some together. Make sure to check back next week for a second design as well which you will also fall in love with. Now lets take a look at my first card...

Directions:

Cut a piece of white cardstock to 10 1/4” x 7 1/4” and score in half to create a 5 1/8 x 7 1/4 left folded card base. Using the largest die from the HCD2-7338 Lattice Flourish Gateway Die set cut this folded piece with the die hanging slightly over the fold of the card so that the fold is not preserved. This will create the shaped card base. Using this same die cut 1x from white card stock and 1x from sheet 11B, from the HCDP1-2147 Garden Lily Paper Collection. Glue the white cardstock onto the front of the card the attach the green one on top of that. Utilizing all of the other Gateway dies in this set cut one each in Luxe Silver Cardstock and white cardstock and layer the silver underneath slightly offset, as shown in the photos. Top Tip: Make sure to use the inside cutting piece so that the inside of the arch does cut away leaving room for the sentiment to be attached. When assembling use Dries Clear Adhesive for everything except for the fence portion. For that use Adhesive Foam Strips to give extra dimension to the card front.

Using the  HCPC-31011 Garden Lily Cling Stamp Set stamp the small lily 2x and the medium/large lily 2x onto Deluxe Flower Shaping Paper using New Sprout Memento ink.  Next stamp the medium/large lily stamp 2x in Sunflower Archival Ink. Stamp the Leaf Stamp 4x in Olive Archival Ink. Using HCDA1-449 Stack & Store Daubers color the centers of all the flowers with New Sprout ink. Cut out using the coordinating dies. Using the triangle tip of the dauber color the detail line on the yellow flowers as shown pulling the color towards the tip. Lightly edge the yellow flower petal edges. Do not ink the other petals at all, leave them with just the pale green in the centers. Color the leaves with Leaf Green and Olive Archival Inks and die cut with the coordinating die. Now shape all the flowers and leaves with the coordinating 3D Flower Mold. Then using both the Deluxe Flower Shaping Tool Set and Golf Tools spritz your flowers from the back with water and finish hand shaping. Poke a hole with a golf tool and add in 4-5, HCS1-499 Petite Pollen Stamens - Medium making sure to secure the with hot glue. Lastly add Dries clear glue to the petals and generously add Rajni Chawla’s Crystal Clear Glitter.

To assemble, layer the glittered Garden Lily Sprays and Fillers down first followed by the shaped leaves leaving a couple out to add in after the flowers are glued down. Arrange the flowers and glue down using a glue gun with hot glue. Add in extra leaves or foliage as desired until the final desired look is achieved. Complete the inside as desired.

Heartfelt Creations ~ Perfectly Pink Magnolias

Hi Friends,

HAPPY 2023 to all of you. I cannot believe it is a BRAND NEW YEAR!!!! I hope all of you have been safely celebrating with friends and family. I have a brand new card to share with you today featuring one of the prettiest flowers that we carry, The Sweet Magnolia. I have chosen to use a "stamp off" technique here to give the petals a little softer of a look and I really like how my flowers turned out.

Directions:

Cut a piece of white cardstock to 8 1/4” x 5 1/4” and score at 1” along the 8 1/4” side. This will create a 1” flap along the top of the card base. Die cut this with the flap folded and at the top using the largest die from the HCD2-7381 Fancy Classic Oval Frame Die, and make sure the top of the die hangs over the top edge of the paper to prevent cutting the fold. Now using white card stock with the same die cut 2 more times. To construct the card base turn the flapped piece so that the flap is faced down and attach one of the full pieces to the back side of the flap giving the back of the card base a full backside. This allows the flap to be glued into the inside back of the card which will be covered up with decorative paper when finishing the inside. Score the front of the card base in half and form a mountain fold. Now attach the second full piece cut to the bottom half of the card front to form the easel card. Cut 2 last pieces with that largest die from the Fancy Classic Oval Frame Die from the HCDP1-2126 Sweet Magnolia Paper Collection, one for the inside to cover the flap (Light cream w/ floral) and one for the front (Light purple) of there card. Next using the second largest frame from the Fancy Classic Oval Frame Die set cut one from the paper used on the inside of the card and one from Luxe Silver Cardstock. When die cutting with this die two pieces are cut. The thin border die and the inside die. See photo how to layer these and glue all these layers to the card base. From the same cream and floral paper on a cream only section cut the center die cut using the two smallest dies from the same die set. Using just the oval outline cut one from Luxe Silver and layer these two together and attach using 3D foam dots. Lastly on the same cream paper area stamp the sentiment from the HCPC-3845 Just For You Sentiments Cling Stamp Set using Magenta Hue Archival Ink. Die cut the sentiment and border paper using the HCD1-7201Ticket and Tags Die set and set aside to attach at the end.

Stamp the HCPC-3949 Sweet Magnolia Buds 2x onto white cardstock using Coffee Archival Ink and color using the Stack & Store Daubers with Desert Sand Memento Ink, Magenta Hue, and Vivid Chartreuse Archival Inks. Die cut with the coordinating die. Next stamp the HCPC-3948 Sweet Magnolia Blooms Cling Stamp Set 2x small and 2x medium in Magenta Hue ink stamped off once to give a lighter hue. Die cut these with the coordinating dies then lightly ink the edges with the Magenta Hue ink before shaping in the 3D shaping mold. Shape a little extra with the Deluxe Flower Shaping kit before piercing a hole in the center of each flower and adding the Bridal Bouquet Stamens - white with hot glue. Add glitter using Dries Clear Glue applied with a Hydra Sponge. Stamp 2-3 branches from the HCPC-3835 Leafy Accents Cling Stamps Set in Olive Archival Ink. Color using Leaf Green Archival Ink before die cutting. Once die cut shape with the coordinating 3D Shaping Mold and then ink the edges with Memento Bamboo Leaves Ink. Lastly Stamp the smallest dragonflies 3x from the Decorative Dragonflies Cling Stamp Set with Watering Can Archival Ink and color with detailed brushes using Magenta Hue, Sunflower, and Leaf Green Archival Inks. Glitter with Crystal Ultra Transparent Glitter.

To complete the card arrange the Magnolia buds along with the foliage to give a nice background for the lovely Magnolia blooms. Then arrange the flowers on top and glue down with a glue gun. Tuck in the sentiment previously made using 3D Foam dots. Attach the 3 little dragonflies with Dries Clear Glue to finish the front. Then finish the inside by creating a stopper for the easel card. Die cut the center medallion 3x from the HCD1-7398 French Courtyard Die. Glue these together and then glue them in place inside the card so that the front panel will stand up.

I hope you enjoyed that as much as I enjoyed creating it for each of you! Check out my personal project in the Heartfelt Creations Gallery to find out what products I used for this project.
