Crafters Companion Peacock Collection

 Hi Friends,

I have another card using products from both Crafter's Companion and Spectrum Noir. I am featuring the Nature's Garden Peacock Collection, inverted dies, and papers by Crafter's Companion plus Sparkle Inks, and Classique Alcohol Markers by Spectrum Noir. Full supply listed below.

The background behind the peacock was created using Spectrum Noir sparkle inks in a wash technique and then embossed with one of the embossing folders in the Peacock collection. I have stamped out the peacock stamp with the Spectrum Noir Finesse Alcohol Proof Ink in Flagstone then colored this image with the Spectrum Noir Classique Markers.

Natures Garden Peacock Collection

 Hi Friends,

I have made a couple of cards featuring the Crafter's Companion Nature's Garden Peacock Collection. I just received this set which I purchased from HSN. I just checked and the full collection is still available HERE. for $15 OFF!!!!

 I just love the way this project turned out. I have used 3 die sets, papers, and a stamp set from the Peacock Collection then I used multiple Sparkle Inks from Spectrum Noir for both the peacock as well as the feathers. The peacock has a more muted color tone and since it was an embossed piece I decided to highlight the beautiful embossing with gilding wax. Finally the sentiment is heat embossed in silver on the vellum background paper which is also part of the paper pack in this collection.

Turtle-licious By TLC Designs

Hi Everyone,

I have had so much fun playing with the newest release over at TLC Designs online Shop. 

This little turtle is one of my favorites from the last release. I created this card using the following TLC Designs products:

I added some coordinating sold and textured papers from my stash (Using scraps again ;-) and then a little lace just to add to the texture around the craft paper. The flowers were shaped slightly using a foam mat and ball tools. Then I added gold rhinestones to the centers. This little guy is colored with Spectrum Noir Classique and Illustrator Alcohol markers.

TLC Designs ~ Spring Cleaning Your Scraps

Hi Friends,

I was inspired by Tammy Louise Cunliffe from TLC Designs on last weeks Thursday Night Live. She shared this design idea of using your scraps and dies along with double sided adhesive. If you have not seen her Live, make sure to head over to the TLC Creative Sharing facebook page.

I love this close up photo because it shows all the specialty papers I used. These were all part of my scraps. After making this card it encouraged me to organize all of my scraps. I cannot believe how much I had. I am passing on all my patterned paper scraps to my daughter in law who is just beginning her card making journey. But here are all of the solid card stock scraps serrated in rainbow order. 

The samples are in Totally Tiffany Scrapmaster Sleeves. and others are in 12x12 sleeves. All fill a Thirty One tote so it can sit on the ground right next to me. I am already loving this system!!!

 

This is sweet Callie... She was helping while I was separating papers. These are some of the patterned paper scraps that are being given to my daughter in law, Sarah.
