Magnolia-Licious ~ Ready for Spring?

Hi Friends,

I have a super fun project for you today. I have said many times that my first love has always been Magnolia brand products so when I met the owners of Magnolia-licious and was given the opportunity to work with them I jumped at the opportunity.

Today's card is showcasing this adorable Tilda stamp from the "2017 Get Well Collection"

For my coloring I chose to use Copic Markers. Here were my color choices:
Skin: E000, E00, E11, E21
Hair: YR20, YR21, YR24
Clothes: B91, B93, B95, R32, R37, R39

I have used a bunch of fun dies with this design. "The Old Oak" Doohickey die was used for the Tree but for the leaves and the grass I used the leaves from "The Fruit Tree" Doohickey die. The Lady But and the Logs came from Doohickey Kit #16. Have you heard about the Doohickey Exclusive Kits? This is an limited time club offered ever so often. You can see which current kits are currently available HERE.

I hope I have inspired you to pick up those stamps and dies today and get creating. There is no better therapy. God Bless! Melanie

LDRS Creative ~ A New Idea With the Lock-itz Dies

Hi Everyone! Today I am here with you to share a new idea for when your playing around with your Lock-Itz dies. These dies are actually ON SALE right now just in case you haven't checked them out before.

The Lock-Itz die line is designed to actually lock together in the center of the card. See them HERE. What I have done is die cut them from white cardstock then I trimmed them down so that there is a straight edge rather than having the "locking" edge. Then I put the straight edge along the outer sides of the card.

Once your pieces are trimmed then glue them to a patterned paper of your choice and trim around the edge of the Lock-Itz die. In this project the paper used is from our Polkadoodles Line and is titled "Pretty Perfect"

LDRS Creative Supply List:
Here is a detailed photo so you can see the beautiful edge. I really love how elegant this card turned out.

I hope this project has helped you think outside the box when designing your next project. Dies can be used in so many beautiful ways. Just a little imagine can transform your projects
Make sure to check out our Clearance sections in both stamps & dies.

Thank you for letting me inspire you today. Have a creative day!
Melanie
