Through The Craft Room Door - Apple of My Eye - Doodle Pantry

Hello Blogland,

Today over at the Through The Craft Room Door challenge blog we are starting a new challenge. Our challenges are always "Anything Goes" so make sure to enter for a chance of winning some awesome prizes. Doodle Pantry is our sponsor this week and I chose a sweet digital image called "Tree Glee 2" I specifically choose this image because my mom has always called me her "Little Apple" since we have been so close and are so alike. I didn't fall far from the tree either :-)

I want to say a quick THANK YOU to Tammy from Handmade By TLC for giving me some guidance this week. I just recently met Tammy through our blogging and we are now also both part of the new Treasured Times Inspirational Design Team. So she has given me some advice on how to better my cards and that is what motivated me to try a shaped card this week :-)

Here is my sweet little apple card. I will be giving this to my mom very soon. She is the "Apple of my eye" and I love her dearly. I am so fortunate to live close to her now after being apart for 20 years due to location.

Copic Markers in the following colors:
E25, E33, E59, E99, G05, G07, G09, Y38, R08, R29


Here is a close up of the coloring. I watched a neat youtube video to learn how to color the apples. I love the way they turned out.

    While all of your cards are beautiful and certainly needed no assistance, I appreciate knowing I have crafty friends to share with, bounce ideas off of and grow to know and appreciate! This apple card is adorable and as my mom is also the apple of my eye, you are very lucky to be so close as I have to drive 1600 miles to visit mine! I'm blessed to have met you and feel equally lucky to be working so closely with a terrific person! Hugs hun!
