Copic Color Progression ~ How I Color Skin & Hair

Hello Crafty Friends,

The beauty of spring is my favorite time of year. We have lived in our home for two years now and currently our yard is bursting with color just like last year. The growth of spring reminds me of growing as an artist. I constantly look for ways I can better myself. Today's card was inspired by the beauty that surrounds me.. I hope this card gets you into the mood to share spring with me. Over the next couple of posts I will be sharing more on this topic.

To get us started I have a card I have made using an adorable Paper Nest Dolls Stamped Image called "Sitting Pretty Avery". I think I have a brand new love. Everyone knows I am a sucker for things with wings. These Butterfly Thinlits Dies from Stampin' Up! are right up my alley. Just in-case your interested, they can be found on page 26 of the Occasions Catalog.

While working on this piece I had fun with my camera taking step by step images while coloring the skin & hair. I have created a Copic Color Progression shown below. Be sure to leave me a message if you find this helpful.

I have used the following items when creating this project:
Copic Colors:
Skin: E000,E00,E04,E11,E21, R20
Hair: E30,E31,E34
Flowers & Grass: Y15,Y19,YG61,63,&67
